Do People Really Know Their Job?

Employment is a tricky thing. It seems that even people who are employed do not know exactly what they are employed to do. Are people just being too hard on workers or are they just bad workers? In some cases, some people really do not know their jobs, but in others there may be factors involved that we do not know about.
